Kristen Day, Environmental Analyst 3 – Oct.23

Our Speaker will be Kristen Day, Environmental Analyst 3, Asbestos Program, Bureau of Regulatory Services, Connecticut Department of Public Health; Staff Assistant to Stephen Dahlem, Supervising Environmental Analyst, Asbestos Office
Kristen will present a power point discussion of the various levels / layers of state licensing for asbestos specialists .
She will review some of the more common materials found in residential construction and the history of the materials used.
Kristen will update attendees on regulations connected with asbestos particularly the EPA and Dept. of Public Health statements about vermiculite.
Kristen will provide handouts regarding these topics.

MONTHLY MEETING – Details & Info

CAHI’s regular monthly meetings are held at the Best Western located at 201 Washington Ave (RT 5), North Haven. Meetings are free to members. Most meetings are on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 7-9pm.

Guests are always welcome! Guests may attend 2 free monthly meetings to experience our presentations, meet our members, and receive a CE attendance certificate.

Joining CAHI may be done at anytime of the year through our Membership Page.
